Salsa Pulled Chicken

Salsa Pulled Chicken, it is perfect for tacos, salads & more! Here’s what you need and how to make it:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup of salsa
  • 1/2 onion (diced)
  • 1 Tb olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp each of salt, pepper, dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried cilantro
  • 1/2 Tb each of chili powder, cumin, garlic powder.


Take onion and sauté on medium heat for 5 minutes until translucent. Add chicken, broth, salsa and seasoning, mix and cover, allowing it to come to a bubble. Once it starts boiling, adjust heat to low-medium and let it be for 60 minutes. Once cooking time is over, remove chicken, shred and add back to the pot of sauce and enjoy!
